A joint seminar of departments of No. 3 and 11  was held at the Institute of Information Technology.  The event was opened by the head of department No.3 Tahmasib Fataliyev. He noted that the seminar was dedicated development of E-maintenance system issues in network environment.

Deputy Director on general issues of the institute, head of department No.11 Shakir Mehdiyev who presented the report, noted that the progress of information technology has paved way for development of new outlets of traditional technical services.  Electronic maintenance system applied in recent years is one of the current innovations in this area, he noted.

Development of E-maintenance system  is very important  for continuous and reliable operation of e-science, Sh.Mehdiyev stressed. The main purpose of this system development is to provide the reliable, efficient and continuous working condition of technical and software tools.

According to him, E-maintenance system that met the requirements  of  system and software engineering has a distributed infrastructure . This system  are organized by communications, data collection, storage, processing and intelligent analysis tools specific to complex and analytical information systems.

In the end, he spoke about  the provision of efficient and uninterrupted operation of e-science organized by  many different types of hardware and software tools . the emergence of Web 2.0 and the Internet of Things technologies  lead to innovation in the field of technical service, he noted.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
