The next seminar of department No.8 was held at the Institute of Information Technology. 

As in advanced countries, the formation of information and knowledge economy is happening in Azerbaijan, associate professor, PhD Alovsat Aliyev said. the state pays particular attention to the development of ICT, as it plays an important role in the formation of new economy.

Then, colleague of institute Leyla Akbarova delivered a report on topic "Assessment of economic indicators of software products quality".  Speaking about complexity indicators  of software product, she noted that static complexity displays complexity of design and production of the software product.  In this case, its purpose, functions and characteristics  are realized,  as well as, the main shortcomings are eliminated.

In the first place, actual evaluation of the original data(possible scale of project, the complexity of the objectives, , functions, project resources and the allotted time) is important  in the beginning of program complex development, she noted.

According to her, during the accounting, analysis and forecasting of economic characteristics of program production, its evaluation, accuracy of the assessment, uncertainty  level of factors and components, changing of economic characteristics if necessary,  project's cost and reporting work labor capacity data and their comparison with economic characteristics prediction of project are reasonable.

“The analyzes show that software product quality changes throughout the life cycle of programs complex.  During the development of large software products, large funds are spent on the establishment of production technology,  election of business and creative professionals’’- reporter noted.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
