The explanatory dictionary of terms on computer science (English-Russian-Turkish-Azerbaijani) was published by Senior Researcher of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS Ismail Jalall (Sadikhov).

The scientific editor of the book, which is important from the point of view of the creation of the national terminology on the preservation of the Azerbaijani language and ICT and is the result of many years of intensive research, is the Academician-Secretary of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies, Academician Rasim Alguliyev.

The encyclopedic edition covers various areas of information technology - software, hardware, networks, data storage, graphics, games, information processing, Internet, history, slang expressions, terms regarding organizations, programming and standards.

The book presents, mainly, the terms found in documents relating to software and hardware, the press, television, books on computers and special journals. The dictionary includes the terms of the computer industry and software engineering.

In the dictionary, terms beginning with numbers and special characters are located in accordance with the ASCII codes. Articles in the dictionary are divided into two groups: basic articles with a full description of terms and reference articles with their synonyms. Some articles are accompanied by appropriate photographs, diagrams, diagrams.

Since the articles are arranged in accordance with the terms in English, an Azerbaijani-English, Turkish-English and Russian-English reference book is presented at the end of the book.

The book is intended for teachers, students, researchers, ICT specialists and members of the information society as a whole.
