A joint seminar of Department No. 17 and Public Relations Department of  Institute of Information Technology was held.

Sector chief of Public relations department Sunbul Zalova  made a presentation on subject "3D social media: essence and features".  She said that social media is a means of communication and file sharing. Social media transforms  communication into interactive dialogue  by using web-based technologies. Social media . includes news sites, social networks, blogs, micro-blogs, instant communication programs, forums and so on.

According to her, 3D Internet becomes widespread with  the development of the 3D technology. It easy obtains information with the help of this technology. 3D Internet and three-dimensional technologies have contributed to the emergence of social media. 3D social media is distinguished from traditional media (newspapers, magazines, radio and television) with its visuality and virtual realities.

Then, colleague of the institute Ilaha  Jabrailova made a presentation on subject  "Social media management issues". She noted that social media is a Internet-based application intended to create and share usercontent  through web 2.0 technologies and informed about types of social media.

The establishment of social media management for enterprises and organizations is important issue. Media managers have special role in successful management, reporter said. I.Jabrailova stressed the importance of implementation  of monitoring and evaluation stages.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
