For the purpose of preparation of "AzScienceNet: current status, opportunities and prospects of development" republican scientific-practical seminar which will be held on January 31 at the Institute of Information Technology, consultation was held at the institute.

In the seminar, which members of the organizing committee attended, state of preparations and organizing of the seminar was briefed. The execution of tasks, presentations of the speakers at the event and other organizational issues were discussed.

Note that the purpose of the event is to inform about AzScienceNet existing infrastructure of scientific and educational institutions, services, high computing and memory capabilities, role in the development of e-science, roaming and cloud services, network monitoring and security, and the integration of the international scientific environment etc.
