A regular seminar of No. 17 department was held at the Institute of Information Technology. Speaking about the agenda academic-secretary of ANAS, director of institute, academician Rasim Aliguliyev said that seminar was dedicated to the development of methods of interaction between education indicators of Azerbaijan and ICT indicators, as well as, problems and prospects of e-government in world's top scientific journals and scientific conferences.

Then, post-graduate student of the department Ali Hasanov delivered a report on subject "Development of analysis methods of interaction between education indicators of Azerbaijan and ICT indicators''. He gave detailed information about international assessment mechanisms related to education and ICT, international projects, state programs and reforms of Azerbaijan Republic.

Since 2009, the International Telecommunication Union has published annual reports named ICT Development Index on measuring of the Information Society, reporter noted.

Colleague of department Fidan Sadiqova delivered a report  on topic ''Approaches aimed to solve issues related to  problems and prospects of e-government in world's leading scientific journals and scientific conferences”. She informed about the events on problems and perspectives of e-government and  about the issues discussed here.

Other collegue of department  Aynura Sadigova  presented a report on subject ''State of scientific researches related to problems and prospects of e-government  in world's prestigious scientific journals''. She brought to attention main topics and authors of the world's well-known journals related to problems and prospects of e-government.
