The next meeting of the Dissertation Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was held.

The Board Chairman, academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute, acad. Rasim Alguliyev informed about the agenda of the meeting. The meeting was dedicated to the appointment of the official opponents, leading organization and the date of the defense.

Doctor of Technical Sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Javid Jafarov were appointed opponents on the dissertation on “Development of mechanisms for the creation of a modern e-library network" by Elchin Mammadov to get scientific degree of PhD in technical sciences on the specialty 3356.01 - "Library, bibliography, and bibliography study", and Azerbaijan Technical University "Computer systems and networks" department was appointed the leading organization. The defense was approved to be held on 27 May 2016.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mahammad Ahmadov and Doctor of Technical Sciences, docent Ramin Rzayev were appointed official opponents on the dissertation on "Forecasting based on fuzzy time series" by Mohubbat Ahmadov to get scientific degree of PhD in technical sciences on the specialty 3338.01 - "System analysis, control and information processing". Baku State University "Information technologies and programming" department was appointed the leading organization. The dissertation defense was approved to be held on 27 May 2016.

Doctor of technical sciences, professor Masuma Mammadova, and Doctor of Technical Sciences, docent Valeh Mustafayev were appointed official opponents on the  dissertation on "Development of expert systems for the diagnosis of neurological diseases” by Ali Amooji on to get scientific degree of PhD in technical sciences on the specialty 3338.01 - "System analysis, control and information processing". The Institute of Control Systems was appointed the leading organization. The dissertation defense was approved to be held on 3 June 2016.
