Interactive Information System was introduced to the Presidium of ANAS 2015-04-29 09:29:30 / CONFERENCES

An Interactive Information System about ANAS's co-founders, presidents, Nobel Prize winners, and the activities of ANAS has been developed by the experts of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS and presented to the Presidium of ANAS, April 23, 2015.

 

President of ANAS, acad. Akif Alizadeh got familiar with the Interactive Information System and highly appreciated it. Increasing the efficiency of scientific activities of ANAS, coordination of fundamental and applied studies conducted by the other scientific institutions and universities of the country, ensuring the application of their outcomes  in the socio-economic and other fields, scientific personnel training system according to the modern standards are of great importance, he said.

 

The new system is one of the components of e-science, Academician-Secretary of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, acad. Rasim Alguliyev noted. E-science focuses on forming unique online scientific infrastructure, and on reconstructing research institutions and organizations of ANAS with the use of ICT, he said.

 

Head of department of the institute Gulnara Nabibayova demonstrated the working principles of the Interactive Information System. The system consists of 4 sections, which include the encyclopedic information about the founders and presidents of the National Academy of Sciences, about 900 Nobel Prize winners from 1901 to 2014. The Nobel Prize winners Section presents detailed information about the countries and areas, categories of the winners, as well as references.
