The head of the AzScienceNet Network Operation Center of the ETN Institute of Information Technology,Phd., Babak Nabiyev, head of the Education department, associate professor Farhad Yusifov, and senior specialist Konul Aliyeva participated in the event on the topic "Internationalization of Science and Higher Education".

The event, organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, was attended by heads and representatives of various state agencies, scientific and higher education institutions, as well as employees responsible for organizing the education of foreign students.

Within the framework of the meeting, extensive discussions were held on the internationalization of science and higher education, the work done in this field, improving the international ranking of Azerbaijani universities, stimulating the research process at universities, organizing activities towards the development of science in the country, and etc.

Additionally, there were panel discussions on "Internationalisation of Higher Education" and "How to bring science to the university?" In the end, awards were given to a number of science and higher education institutions that excelled at working with international students as well as international students who excelled in academic achievement, social activism, and publishing scientific articles (doctorate).
