The head of AzScienceNet Network Operation Center, Babak Nabiyev and the Center's chief specialist Agshin Pashayev participated in the GÉANT Security Bootcamp held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on March 12-14.
The Bootcamp was organized by GÉANT for a national research and education network (NRENs) of the Eastern Partnership countries within the framework of the "Security Bootcamp" project. The main purpose of this training was to implement information security policy based on international standards for national research and education networks, increase cyber security capabilities, mutual sharing and getting knowledge and skills between partner organizations, as well as learning new experiences in this field.
Open sessions on the topics such as Data protection policy and governance, monitoring and auditing process, data processing agreements, Data Breach report, privacy notice and etc., were held, extensive exchange of ideas was held.
Security Bootcamp is organized for the first time by GÉANT, is intended to be held regularly for various member organizations.
