Information technologies, which are rapidly developing in the world, impose new demands on the science and education system of our country. "5th Eastern Partnership E-infrastructures Conference" is of great importance for the development of science and education in Azerbaijan.

AZERTAC reports that Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, said this at the opening ceremony of the conference.

Deputy Minister Firudin Gurbanov spoke about President Ilham Aliyev's policy in the direction of science, education and training of highly qualified and educated personnel. He emphasized that as a result of the successful policy implemented in this field, it has become traditional to hold international scientific events organized by the world's prestigious institutions in Azerbaijan.

He noted that holding such a prestigious event is extremely important in terms of deepening and strengthening cooperation in the field of science and education between Eastern Partnership countries.

F. Gurbanov expressed his confidence that "EaPEC 2022" will also open wide opportunities in terms of defining the development prospects of Azerbaijan's science and education.
