"EaPEC 2022" conference opens wide opportunities for the development of science and education in Azerbaijan.
AZERTAC reports that Erik Huizer, CEO of GEANT (Gigabit European Academic Network), said this at the opening ceremony of the "5th Eastern Partnership E-infrastructures Conference". He expressed deep gratitude to the Institute of Information Technologies, as well as other relevant institutions, for organizing the conference at a high level.
Erik Huizer said that the Azerbaijan state is ready to provide necessary assistance in the direction of expanding cooperation relations with Eastern Partnership countries, ensuring more effective use of European resources and services in the field of science and education by our scientists and researchers.
Huizer pointed out that special experts from the participating countries will listen to reports on various topics within the framework of the conference, and exchange experiences and opinions on important issues with colleagues.
It should be noted that the main objective of the event, organized within the framework of the "EaPConnect" (EU4Digital: Connecting Research and Education Communities) project, which was initiated and coordinated by the GEANT Association and covered the Eastern Partnership countries, to expand the cooperative relations between the Eastern Partnership countries and accelerate the integration of these states into the European community.
