Head of AzScienceNet Network Operation Center, PhD, Babak Nabiyev was awarded with an Honorary Degree on the occasion of "Science Day". The Honorary Degree was presented to B. Nabiyev at the General Meeting of the Academy on April 27 by the Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Rasim Alguliyev.

Babak Nabiyev has been working at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS since 2008. In 2018, he defended his thesis "Development of methods and algorithms for the synthesis of intelligent network security monitoring system" and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Technology.

Currently, he is the Head of the AzScienceNet Network Operation Center.
