Important work has been launched in our country on the implementation of "smart city" and "smart village" projects. For the successful implementation of these projects, it is necessary to apply the technologies and cyber physical systems that form the basis of the IV industrial revolution. The Presidential Decree on the establishment of the "Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" on January 6 this year also shows that a favorable basis for the application of these technologies is being created in our country.
Ogtay Alakbarov, chief specialist of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, told AZERTAC. He noted that the rapid development of technology has not passed without an impact on the reshaped infrastructure of cities. As a result of the integration of the Internet of Things and other modern technologies into urban infrastructure, "smart cities" are emerging.
At present, various types of drones are used in "smart cities" established in different countries to facilitate control. Drones are widely used in "smart cities" to facilitate public transport, ensure city security, traffic, and various construction sectors. The analysis shows that in 2023, a certain part of cargo transportation in "smart cities" will be carried out by drones.
The recent spread of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world has led to the increasing use of drones in "smart cities". Thus, the drone, equipped with various sensors, can detect registered coronavirus patients by monitoring the city 24 hours a day. This prevents the spread of the disease. In addition, some drones are used in "smart cities" to disinfect the streets against the coronavirus. Research shows that from 2025, only drones will provide security in several "smart cities" in the United States. These types of drones will be used to maintain public order, prosecute criminals, neutralize them and control various protests.
Given the above, it is expedient to use drone technology to ensure the security of "smart cities" to be created in our liberated territories. With the help of this technology, the concept of "smart city" will create opportunities for effective management of public transport, ensuring the safety of the city, traffic management, widespread use in various construction sectors, effective management of morning infrastructure. The collection, analysis, use and visualization of security information in the management of morning infrastructure by drones create great opportunities for the successful implementation of security projects in the concept of "smart city".
