Rashid Alakbarov, Deputy Director for Technologies of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, PhD in technical sciences, Associate Professor, published an article entitled Published in the International Journal of Wireless Networks and Broadband Technologies (IJWNBT).
The article discusses the use of cloudlet-based mobile computing clouds to solve problems that require large computing and memory resources on mobile devices.
The issues of energy saving of mobile devices, resource limitations in mobile devices and elimination of network delays were analyzed.
The study also showed by mathematical calculations that the solution of mobile users' problems in cloudlets increases the battery life of mobile devices and reduces network delays. The issue of balanced distribution of issues in the cloudlet network was considered. If the user uploads and resolves the issue to the nearest cloudlet, then the delays and power consumption will be less. Delays and increased power consumption have been reported with the increase in the number of communication channels when the cloudlet is away from the mobile device. At the same time, the article discusses the issue of selecting cloudlets that meet some of the requirements of the user.
