Vogue invited the robot girl Erica to become a model, because the magazine believes that unusual mechanical photomodels will become a unique phenomenon in the fashion world and will be in demand. The first photosession of the robot will be held in Japan. And the photographer will be Mark Perkmezian.

The development of the Japanese engineer Hiroshi Ishiguro - robot Erica - was created in 2015. She has a realistic appearance, she can laugh and joke, but she speaks with a synthetic voice.

Recall that Erica is not the first robot in the fashion world. In 2016, in the December issue of the Brazilian ELLE, the robot Sofia appeared on the cover. The theme of the issue was devoted to the fashion of the future and beauty in the age of innovative technologies. Sofia not only took part in the photo shoot, but also talked with reporters.
