Apple co-founder Steve Voznyak has launched the "Woz U" online educational program to teach IT skills and popularize employment in the IT industry.
The main objective of the project is to increase the interest in a career, science, technology, engineering, mathematics and arts, hitech.vesti.ru reports. According to Wozniak, the new startup will become a network of thirty training centres offering courses across the globe from time to time, from software development to cybersecurity. It is also planned to create a startup for those who want to create a personal IT company.
"People are afraid to start a career in technology because they think they can not cope with this. I want to help them. Throughout my lifetime, I have worked to develop the world through technology, and always have respect for education. Now it's time to launch ''Woz U'', Steve Wozniak said.
''Woz U" courses are not yet available on the official site. But the mobile application, which has already introduced several entry courses, has been put into operation.
