The presentation of the newly-created akj.az web-site of ANAS Chemistry magazine was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. Academician-Secretary of the Department of Chemical Sciences, Director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev, Head of Information, Patent Research and Innovation Department, PhD in Chemistry Rana Mirzeyeva, Academician- Secretary, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, academician Rasim Alguliev and specialists of the institute participated at the event.
Speaking at the conference, academician Rasim Alguliev said that the websites of scientific journals of institutes and organizations of ANAS are one of the most important tasks for creation of modern web-sites and international standards.
Then, Academician Dilgam Taghiyev noted the importance of magazines published in ANAS. He stated that one of the key conditions for any scientific magazine to be included in the prestigious scientific base of Thomson Reuters is its web-site that meets the modern requirements.
Academician D.Taghiyev expressed his gratitude to the specialists of the Institute for the services rendered in the preparation of the web-site of the Azerbaijan Chemistry magazine, where he was the editor-in-chief and expressed confidence that joint cooperation would continue in the future.
Then, Gulnara Nabibayova, Head of Department of the Institute of Information Technology, commented on the web site akj.az, developed by the Institute's specialists under the "Requirements for State Authorities to Establish and Manage Internet Information Resources" and the AR Special State Protection Service.
Programmer of the Institute Sarkhan Yolchuyev gave detailed information about the web-site akj.az. He said that the homepage of the site consists of "Editorial Board", "Journal", "Archive" and other sections. According to him, the site created on the basis of the latest technologies, including a comprehensive search engine, site map and useful links. It is possible to look at the articles published in the last issue of the magazine's homepage.
Finally, discussions were held on the promotion of the website. Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov, corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of Technical Sciences Ramiz Alguliyev, Chief Research Fellow, PhD in Technical Sciences Zarifa Jabrayilova made their remarks and proposals.
