It has no taste, so the properties of the drink that is inside do not change. And it's convenient that after using the product you do not have to throw out a plastic bottle.
Developers of the British company revealed the secret of the shell: it is made from an extract of seaweed - this material, by the way, is not only safer, but also much cheaper than plastic.
Despite the apparent simplicity, the design of water in the balls, which would be completely safe, the creators took almost two years. But be careful: if you do not have time to "eat" water for six weeks, then nothing will remain of it - the algae shell will dissolve completely.
While the novelty can be bought only in London, but the creators hope to spread it around the world. And the global goal of the creators of edible water beads is to produce packaging for different types of products that will not need to be disposed of.
