3D-Printer with the possibility of virtual print monitoring in real time 2017-04-17 18:38:17 / CONFERENCES

The new development of the Spanish company Eurecat is a 3D printer equipped with a special display that allows the operator to monitor the process of printing in real time and see the result before the end of the work.

Development can be a very useful innovation for factories engaged in mass production, because all information about the object being in the process of printing is immediately displayed, so a specialist who stands on the control will always be able to see what the finished product will be, and in the case Need to be able to make any changes directly on the fly.

The lava of the industrial technology department of Eurecat Xavier Plant believes that in five years most large factories will use 3D printing, supplemented and virtual reality, so creating a prototype of a printing machine working in tandem with VR has become a very timely and promising option for the joint application of these technologies.

The development has already been demonstrated at the exhibition Advanced Factories, which is held annually in Barcelona.
