Head of the Department of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor T. Kazimov and chief project engineer of the institute, PhD, associate professor and co-author Shafagat Mahmudova’s article”Application Issues of Electronic Biometric Technologies in Medicine“has been published in the Advances Bioscience and Bioengineering journal in scientific base of "Science publishing Group".

In the article the introduction of biometric technologies, e-medicine, opportunities and prospects were analyzed, their advantages were noted. Biometric technologies are ways of increasing reliability through the use of medical services in health care. Also identification of human according to the dead man’s skull and photo of his head while he was alive was investigated.
