The next meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS  was held.

First, the memory of the heroic martyrs, who gave lives for the territorial integrity, was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Deputy Chairman of the council, Doctor of Technical Sciences, ProfessorAlakbar Aliyev gave information about the agenda. The meeting was dedicated to the approval of thesis and appointment of curators.

The plaintiff Elchin Mammadov presented his dissertation on “Development of mechanisms for the creation of a modern e-library network" to get scientific degree of PhD in technical sciences on the specialty 3356.01 - "Library, bibliography, and bibliography study", then Mohubbat Ahmadov presented his dissertation on "Forecasting based on fuzzy time series" and Ali Amooji on "Development of expert systems for the diagnosis of neurological diseases" to get scientific degree of PhD in technical sciences on the specialty 3338.01 - "System analysis, control and information processing", curators were appointed and approved.

Doctor of Technical Sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Bayram Allahverdiyev were appointed curators on the thesis by Elchin Mammadov, Doctor of Technical Sciences thesis, ProfessorMahammad Ahmadov and PhD Yadigar Imamverdiyev were appointed curators on the thesis by Mohubbat Ahmadov, and finally, Doctor of technical sciences, professor Masuma Mammadova, and PhD associate professor Zarifa Jabrayilova were appointed curators on the thesis by Ali Amooji.
