A training session was held at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education for the Institute’s staff within the framework of the “Artificial Intelligence Literacy” program. The training was organized by the ASAN Innovative Development Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The main objective of the training was to familiarize participants with the latest innovations in artificial intelligence and to introduce innovative services designed to leverage AI capabilities in business activities.
During the training, Nofal Aliyev, a trainer at the Center, provided comprehensive information about the activities of the ASAN Innovative Development Center. He noted that over nearly five years of operation, the Center has organized more than 650 training sessions attended by over 30,000 participants.
The trainer subsequently delivered detailed insights into recent advancements and practical applications of artificial intelligence technologies. He emphasized that AI offers significant opportunities to simplify everyday work processes, support more accurate decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen leadership competencies. It was highlighted that AI technologies considerably reduce routine workloads, enabling employees to dedicate greater attention to creative and strategic tasks.
The training combined both theoretical knowledge and practical experience applicable to real-world scenarios. A comparative analysis of generative AI platforms, including “Skywork AI,” “Gemini,” “Kimi,” “Claude,” and “DeepSeek" was presented, outlining their respective advantages and limitations. Additionally, participants were introduced to AI-based systems with strong potential to enhance the efficiency of academic and scientific research through practical demonstrations.
The session concluded with an extensive discussion, during which participants’ questions were addressed.
