Babak Nabiyev, PhD in Technical Sciences and Head of the AzScienceNet Network Operation Center at the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education, was a guest on the “Baku Time” program of the “TV1” website.

In the program dedicated to “How Citizens Are Deceived by Pyramid Schemes,” B. Nabiyev answered questions concerning issues such as the misappropriation of citizens’ financial resources on social networks.

He noted that with the increasing access to the Internet worldwide and the development of artificial intelligence technologies, cybersecurity issues have become more prominent, and in recent years, cases of financial pyramid fraud have become particularly widespread. In his speech, B. Nabiyev discussed the causes of such risks, methods to minimize them, and ways to protect against these attacks.
