As part of the GEANT General Assembly meeting, a bilateral discussion took place between the Vice-President of ANAS, Director General of the MSERA Institute of Information Technology, Academician Rasim Alguliyev, and GEANT Executive Director Lise Fuhr. The meeting featured a comprehensive exchange of views on advancing strategic cooperation between GEANT and the Institute to a new level. Topics included expanding the integration of the AzScienceNet infrastructure with European research and education networks, enhancing the effective use of GEANT's services, and exploring opportunities for joint project implementation.

The meeting also addressed the proposal to hold an international conference in October 2025, dedicated to the current state, capabilities, and future development prospects of the AzScienceNet network. The importance of active participation by key representatives of the GEANT Association in this event was strongly emphasized.
