At the meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology, discussions were held on the strengthening of the integration of science and education, as well as the cooperation between the Institute of Information Technology and the Azerbaijan Technical University.

The Executive Director of the Institute, PhD, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov spoke about this and recalled that in January of this year, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Azerbaijan Technical University and the Institute of Control Systems and the Institute of Information Technology on the implementation of joint scientific research activities.  R. Alakbarov gave detailed information about the measures implemented in the institute on the implementation of the tasks arising from the Memorandum in the period, and said that the employees of both institutions actively participated in this process.

Then the vice-president of ANAS, general director of the institute, academician Rasim Aliguliyev spoke about the distribution of advanced knowledge in the institute, transfer to education, training of highly qualified personnel, etc. The scientist noted that the joint activity of universities and scientific institutions is of great importance for the integration of science, education and innovation, and in this context, effective cooperation relations have been established with the Baku branch of Moscow State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, as well as Baku Business University.

Academician Rasim Alguliyev said that according to the Memorandum signed between the Institute of Information Technology and Azerbaijan Technical University, reports on the performance of the duties assigned to both institutions are prepared, and the work carried out on the improving the quality of teaching and personnel training is being monitored.
