The final week of the World Information Society Forum (WSIS Forum 2021) kicked off on May 17. The online events, which run through May 21, include a series of high-level interactive dialogues, political statements, an awards ceremony and WSIS Action Line meetings.
The final week will feature discussions on "Accelerating Digital Transformation in Difficult Times." The main goal is to emphasize the role of ICT in saving lives and maintaining the sustainability of the economy, to expand cooperation in this area around the world.
The Forum, held under the motto "ICT for Inclusive, Sustainable, Sustainable Societies and the Economy", provides an opportunity to exchange and share best practices in the use of modern technologies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
These events will bring together members and partners of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to demonstrate how ICT has responded to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The WSIS Forum also provides a multifaceted platform to promote global collaboration and connect with the information society through the application of ICT for sustainable development.
It should be noted that employees of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS also participate in various sections of the World Forum on Information Society.
