At the next online scientific seminar of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS the report of the employee of department 15 Ayten Ahmadova on "Health 4.0: formation, main technologies, problems" was heard.
Ahmadova said that the Industry 4.0 platform is based on "smart" technologies to improve the quality of work and reduce industrial costs. He noted that Health 4.0 has been identified as a strategic concept for the health sector stemming from the Industry 4.0 concept. At the heart of this concept is the goal of improving the quality of the health care system through the use of information technology.
Giving an overview of the concept of Industry 4.0, he said that the Fourth Industrial Revolution was a trend that described the disappearance of traces of boundaries between the physical, digital and biological worlds in the world in general. The Fourth Industrial Revolution, or Industry 4.0 platform, uses smart technologies and real-time data to increase productivity and reduce production costs.
Speaking about the integration of Industry 4.0 into the health sector, Ahmadova said that the widespread use of "smart" technologies such as Industry 4.0, wireless and mobile technologies, their integration into the health system has led to the formation of new directions in this area.
He noted that the core technologies of Health 4.0 include 3D, Big Data, the Internet of Things, holography, robots and artificial intelligence.
Then A.Ahmadova informed about the concept of "Internet of Things". He said he first used the term in 1999 to describe a system in which physical objects are connected to the Internet through sensors.
Giving information about some areas of success in healthcare using the Internet of Things, the speaker said that this includes administrative management, medical diagnostics, remote monitoring, drug therapy.
In conclusion, the researcher noted that there is a need for a "smart" system based on Industry 4.0 to reduce the time required to create a system of individualized services in the medical sector and solve problems that can’t be solved by other traditional methods. To this end, it is necessary to conduct research on various technologies and capabilities of Industry 4.0 in the field of medicine, as well as to determine the current state of research.
