An online consultation was held with the participation of the Department of Physical-Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS, the Department of Coordination of Scientific Research of the Presidium of ANAS, the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, as well as other responsible employee of ANAS.
Opening the event, vice president of ANAS, director of Institute, academician Rasim Alquliyev noting that the meeting was dedicated to the current state and development of e-science, informatization of Republican Scientific Research Coordination Council (RSRCC) and other important issues.
Then, the Deputy Director for Technologies of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, PhD in technical sciences, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov informed about the implementation of the work assigned within the informatization of RSRCC.
He noted that the dissertation works registered in the Problem Councils were collected in a single system and stored in the Data Center of the AzScienceNet network as a special cloud and a virtual resource was allocated to provide online access to these materials.
Speaking at the meeting, the head of the Department of Coordination of Scientific Research of the Presidium of ANAS, PhD in technical sciences, Associate Professor Rena Gasimova said that it is necessary to solve certain financial and organizational problems in order to strengthen the material and technical base and human resources of the department.
Farhad Yusifov, Head of the Department of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, PhD in technical Sciences, Associate Professor, informed about the current situation with scientific personnel at ANAS, noted that analyzes were carried out on departments and institutes of the academy, measures were taken to identify and eliminate shortcomings. He also informed the participants of the meeting on the work done on the formation and operation of the National Information System "Scientific Personnel".
- Alguliyev noted that the high level of operation of the information system "Azerbaijani Diaspora of Scientists" is one of the important tasks facing the RSRCC. He said the main goal is to involve our compatriots living in different countries in scientific research processes in our country, increase their participation and role in the development of Azerbaijani science, as well as create opportunities for joint research and strengthening cooperation.
