Information appeared on the network that Chinese engineers have developed a special device that can measure several people’s temperature without contact - all this is done to help local physicians fight the outbreak of coronavirus.

So, Professor Mei Xuesong, who led the creation of a robot to measure temperature right in front of a crowd of people, noted that in manual mode a single doctor is able to interact with one patient, which was catastrophic at the scale of the epidemic. It is for this that he and his engineers began to develop a new device.

According to the developers, their invention will be indispensable in crowded places: at railway stations, airports, hospitals and other public places. Thanks to the thermal imager that the robot is equipped with, the device will be able to immediately check the whole crowd, and if necessary, doctors will take care of those who have been found to have an elevated temperature.
