The American corporation Ocean Infinity is an exploration company established in 2016. The company has since discovered several crashes involving Argentina's submarine "San Juan" and South Korean public carrier Stellar Daisy, as well as the missing Malaysia Airlines flights 370.
According to Oliver Plunkett, Director General of the EU, switching to submarines would be the next logical step. “We ordered 11 robots of different sizes. The smallest is 21 m and the largest is 37 m. They will be able to travel from space management centers to transcontinental space, ”Plunkett said.
"Each of them will be fitted out with an array of sensors and equipment, but also their own capability to deploy tethered robots to inspect right down to the bottom of the ocean, 6,000m below the surface, reports “BBC News's Russian service,"
The boats will be used to search for missing objects. They also inspect pipelines and survey bed conditions for telecoms cables and off-shore wind farms. Armada will also carry robot shipments. It is characterized by a decrease in CO2 emissions compared to larger ships.
Armada is located in the Southampton area of the UK's South Coast. Experts note that the main control room will be located here and the operator will be able to get the vehicle out of the port, maintaining command and situational awareness through satellite channels.
