The DoNotPay robot lawyer with artificial intelligence, who became famous for offering free legal services, has now appeared on the iOS platform. The essence of the application is expressed by the phrase: “Submit a lawsuit to the court at the touch of a button.” This is mainly about litigation with corporations and about complex civil matters for resolving disputes between people. Previously, this service was available on the website of the robot lawyer.
DoNotPay asks the client questions about the nature of the appeal and about whom he is filing a lawsuit. Then the robot draws up the necessary documents for the application and creates the text of the speech, which the client may have to give in court.
Robot created Joshua Browder when he was 18 years old. DoNotPay was originally intended to challenge numerous parking fines. Over time, Browder complicated the software of his offspring, after which he began to offer legal services in most US states on an expanded list of issues, including speculative ticket prices, delivery delays and illegal bank fees.
Currently, DoNotPay services are still free. He, in fact, simply informs customers about their rights that they already have. However, in the future, Browder is considering charging for the most complex, specialized legal advice.
