AzInTelecom LLC, operating under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has launched a new service for its customers.

According to the Ministry, from September 11, the Data Center customers will be able to lease monthly virtual computers running the Microsoft Windows Server operating system.

The Data Center will issue the operating system license based on a model designed for cloud providers. Renting this license will give a number of benefits to customers. Thus, customers will be able to use the virtual environment of Microsoft Windows Server based on operating expenses without capital expenditures.

Easy replacement of service use makes it possible to coordinate the number of licenses as the demand increases. Moreover, Microsoft Windows Server will be upgraded free-of-charge for customers. All updates to the operating system will be offset by the Data Center’s resources. So, using the virtual environment, customers will always be able to obtain the latest versions of the Microsoft Windows Server operating system.
