The algorithm of artificial intelligence, created by Microsoft specialists, began to draw "to order", relying only on textual descriptions of future work. So, its first assignment was a bird it could draw at the request of the researchers - they asked it to portray "a bird with black wings and a short beak", after which the AI began to work, the result of which can be observed above.
Modern AI algorithms are able to identify objects depicted in pictures and photographs with astonishing accuracy, which often reaches 80 percent, but it is Microsoft's AI that became the first algorithm capable of independently executing the inverse task of recreating images based on a textual description of the subject.
The figure was very accurate, despite the fact that before performing the task, the AI did not look for similar images, and performed the work independently, gradually reconstructing the bird with photographic precision, which was conditionally described in the task.
The developers note that such a bird may not exist at all, because it is only the embodiment of a rather abstract request addressed to AI, nevertheless the results of his work are impressive, although they are not ideal yet.
