Every day the potential and importance of artificial intelligence grows. So in Germany for the first time in the world, the Commission of the Ministry of Transport and the Digital Infrastructure has developed a set of ethical rules for ... autonomous vehicles. Similar processes are observed in the US and other developed countries. However, at the moment the palm belongs to the UAE, where the post of Minister of Artificial Intelligence is established.
This position was approved by the 27-year-old Omar Bin Sultan Al-Olama - one of six newly appointed ministers, three of whom are women. According to the Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin-Rashid Al Maktoum, this decision represents a new stage in the development of skills, science and technology of the future.
The state has invested huge amounts of money in modern technologies for many years. Already in the near future in the capital of the Emirates - Dubai police robots will appear, and by 2030 on the roads of the country and in the sky - thousands of autonomous land and flying cars.
The appointment of the new minister, Sheikh Mohammed, commented: "We want the UAE to be among the world leaders in the field of artificial intelligence"
