The article of co-authors, Academician Rasim Alguliev, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, academician-secretary of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of Technical Sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev's "Modifications to the Journal Impact Factor"  was published in the UK's prestigious COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management.

The magazine, published twice a year, presents the latest research in the field of science and information management.

The article discusses the implication factor proposed by Y. Garfield and the modifications proposed by other authors, and demonstrated their lack of detail. In order to overcome these shortcomings, authors of the article have proposed a number of weighted impetus factors, taking into account their references and the number of reference sources.

The article was prepared within the project "Development of new methods and algorithms for the synthesis of electronic science and its functional subsystems" funded by the Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Grant № EIF-2014-9 (24) -KETPL-14/02/1).

The COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management, indexed in the Web of Science Science , has a high reputation among the journals published in the field of science.
