In the city of Riga, Latvia, within the framework of the Work Program of the Second Platform of the Eastern Partnership of the European Union, the project "Aligning and forecasting supply and demand in the labor market - the experience of the European Union and the Eastern Partnership countries", covering 2014-2017, was implemented.
Within the framework of the project, with the support of the European Commission and the European Training Foundation, the most successful examples were presented to the representatives of the Eastern Partnership countries in order to get acquainted with the experience of the EU countries in equalizing and forecasting proposals and demand for human resources, research conducted in this area, new institutional arrangements, and Organized thematic seminars for acquaintance with models on alignment and forecasting of demand and offers.
At the last thematic seminar, held June 26-29, 2017, the head of the department of the Institute of Information Technology, corresponding member of ANAS Masuma Mamedova attended. The scientist joined the expert group, representing our country in this project.
Within the framework of the event, the work done was also discussed, aimed at creating a system for forecasting human resources in the labor market and equalizing demand and supply in the Eastern Partnership countries. Information was also provided on the current situation in connection with the alignment and forecasting of the proposals and demand for labor in Azerbaijan, the decisions adopted in the development of a new methodology, and the establishment of the Observatory on Labor Market Forecasting and Competence in the country.
In conclusion, the project participants received certificates.
