In the corporation Fujitsu announced the release of a new system of biometric authentication. This is a completely innovative approach, which, compared to the fingerprint and retinal scanner, is able to better protect personal data from cyberthreats.

This is the PalmSecure ID system, which defines the user by drawing the veins in the palm of your hand. Integration of the novelty is via the Microsoft Active Directory directory service and is available on Windows. The system greatly simplifies the users' access through passwords, as there is no longer any need to remember complex combinations that are constantly being updated. Also, the protection of important information is enhanced. To start the system on the computer or simply pass authentication to view the internal system, the PalmSecure ID user needs to place the palm above the contactless scanner. As it turned out, this palm scanner is already equipped with all modern models of tablets and laptops from Fujitsu. If you do not have one, you can purchase a separate USB-device.

With Microsoft Active Directory, users can log in to their own account on any devices connected to the corporate network. It is the PalmSecure service that centralizes all management and stores personal (biometric) data. To date, the active implementation of the new system in state organizations, medical institutions, banks and airports has already been planned, etc. The technology is able to work in real time, check the movement of human blood during authentication and provide full protection against fraud.
