Departmental seminar organized by department No. 8 was held at the Institute of Information Technology. Head of the department, PhD, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev said that the seminar was devoted to the topic “improvement of efficient distribution of energy resources process in the regions".  Application of ICT systems in distribution of power resources, depending on consumer demand is urgent and important issue, he noted.

As a result of increased demand for electricity, importance was increased to energy consumption from sources which are economically advantageous in the various economic and social sectors, candidate for a degree of institute Maqsud Hassanzadeh said. For this purpose, work is underway for production of electricity, its distribution, as well as, creation of more effective method and systems for managing the demand for it.

M. Hasanzadeh analyzed the mechanism of distribution of electricity in the region and commented on the communication infrastructure for electricity distribution networks. He also talked about the definition of dynamic demand for energy, organization of supply and demand based information, energy consumption management.

He also informed the participants about the simulation of the mechanism and model of intelligent information systems based on the distribution of electricity resources, the method of application of the intelligent information system based on energy sources and analysis of the results of the distribution of energy resources.

Discussions were held on the report, questions were answered. Heads of Departments - Tahmasib Fataliyev, Sayyar Abdullayev, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor  Tofig Kazimov, PhD in Technical Sciences Vugar Musayev, Rasim Mahmudov, Chief project  engineer of the Institute, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Shafagat Mahmudova, chief of sector Irada Alakbarova making remarks and voicing their suggestions.
