The colleagues of innovation sector of the Institute of Physics are conducting extensive researches on antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic phase transitions in epitaxial layers (Zn, Sn, Mn) AS2). The above-mentioned research is closely associated with spin-area transistors and spintronica that has perspectives in the creation of a new generation of information and communication technologies equipment in the near future. Researches on antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic phase transitions in epitaxial layers are carried out by means of computer modeling, that’s why there is increased demand for additional computing resources.
For this reason, colleagues of the Institute of Physics have been given the right to use virtual machines that possess 24 cores and 16 GB of RAM by experts of AzScienceNet Science and Computer Network the Institute of Information Technology.
AzScienceNet also provides the Institute of Physics with Cloud Computing and Cloud Storage services .
It should be noted that recently the Grid center of the Institute of Physics has connected to AzScienceNet via the fiber-optic cable and colleagues has been offered the opportunity to use the services of the network.
