Microsoft Corporation will allocate $ 25 million for the development of artificial intelligence technologies that can make life easier for people with disabilities. This is reported by TASS, referring to the official statement of the company's president Brad Smith and CEO Sathya Nadella.

It is planned that this initiative will be implemented within five years. Microsoft will financially support private and non-profit organizations that are engaged in research in the field of artificial intelligence and the development of technologies designed for people with disabilities. This includes, among other things, the creation of special computer programs for hard of hearing and visually impaired, as well as people suffering from autism or dyslexia.

The corporation intends not only to provide grants for start-ups, but also to invest in the development of this industry and offer expert assistance to developers who need it. Microsoft management believes that the latest technologies will help people with disabilities to realize their enormous potential.
