In 2018, the world's first smartphone thermometer with the i-MEMS system will appear on the gadget market. The developers told that in just 0.5 seconds the user will be able to know the exact temperature of his body.

The error of this device due to the microelectromechanical sensor built into the smartphone is about 0.01%, vistanews.ru reports. Specialists from Korea, where the development of the device is going on, told that the output is planned for 2018. How much will the smartphone cost and in what countries it will appear at the moment is unknown. Specialists claim that the smartphone thermometer will measure the temperature in the range from -40 to 200 degrees Celsius.

Some experts believe that such a sensor with an instantaneous temperature can also appear in Apple's iPhone devices. Thanks to this, users can quickly monitor their health. But there was no confirmation from other developers.
